In order to be successful, universities need to be internationalized.
IoHE online benchmarking tool presents the collected data in a user-friendly and interactive way and make it available beyond the traditional higher education community. Tool lets you compare university level of internationalisation at higher education institutions in Moldova. It focuses on four areas and ranks universities according to the level of internationalisation they have in each of these. The site has been updated and describes the state of university internationalisation in 2020.
This IoHE online benchmarking tool was created in frame of the ERASMUS+ project “ELEVATING THE INTERNATIONALISATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN MOLDOVA – ELEVATE” (Reference number: 573921-EPP-1-2016-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP)

ELEVATING THE INTERNATIONALISATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN MOLDOVA (acronym: ELEVATE) PROJECT aims to develop and implement meaningful, transparent and far-reaching national and institutional strategies, policies and measures that will ensure a long-term systematic and strategic approach to the internationalisation of Moldovan HE and research, facilitate international relations across Moldovan universities and raise the quality and scope of international partnerships established within EHEA and ERA.
Objectives of the project:
- To develop and advance national legislative which will elevate the process of internationalisation of Moldovan higher education and research.
- To build the university integrative function through institutional policies for the internationalisation of education, research, mobility and services.
To enhance institutional capacities for effective participation in large-scale international collaborations.
